When you or your loved one experiences a decline in health and mobility, even for a short time, there can be a seemingly endless list of things that you need to take care of. Getting a hold of an affordable walker or bath bench should be the least of your worries. Luckily there are a lot of local and national organizations that provide such equipment on either a loan or sale basis for little or no money. Below I’ve compiled a list of organizations in my home state of Washington. Feel free to use, download, and share it with anyone who might benefit. If you are not in Washington, check with local chapters of organizations such as the Lions, Knight’s of Columbus, Rotary, and the Masons. If you are doing an online search, good search terms to use along with your location include “medical equipment bank”, “loan closet” and “medical equipment donations”.
